one scene that did strike some fear in my Irish heart is the scene where his potatoes are ruined in a horrific airlock accident, seeing space blight take hold will strike fear in any Irish Man’s heart, even on Mars the famine will get you.

Amidst the interminable dross being lined up for the last quarter of the year I have actually managed to get excited about a few films, yes I’m in a cynical mood, no I’m not going to try and snap out of it because I write better when I’m feeling moany.
We will soon be into the final quarter of 2015, and although there has been a lot of great films thus far there are still plenty of promising films on the horizon.

When I was still an usher in the cinema I would make time to be in a screen when this film would end- because a haunting silence fell over the entire auditorium without fail and you could hear a pin drop.
It’s kind of a loose adaption of Beowulf but with a nice helping of spaceships and lasers
In terms of a rating, it’s too early to tell, but for now we’re happy to keep drinking to this.
